Tatenda J Bvumbe

PHD Student

Tatenda J Bvumbe earned his BSEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. He worked for the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe for three years as an Airport Mechanical Engineer. This role did not satisfy his wish to actively and effectively contribute to the development of sustainable energy systems so he left and enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and acquired his MSEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2013.  His research work focused on the utilisation of solar energy to power absorption cooling systems.  He is currently enrolled for a PhD with HySA Systems Competence Centre and his work is aimed at achieving the internal humidification of low temperature PEMFCs.
