Nurudeen Adewunmi Adebare

I obtained my BSc(Hons) in Industrial Chemistry and MSc in Chemistry both from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria.  I completed my MSc in 2014. My Master of Science thesis was focused on Investigating the Kinetics of nucleophilic aromatic substitution reactions giving reaction products used in the manufacturing of antidepressant drugs.

I started my PhD in Chemistry in 2018 here at the University of the Western Cape, Chemistry department under the supervision of Prof Khotseng L.E. I am currently investigating ternary catalysts as anode catalysts for direct methanol fuel cells. I thank HySA Systems for financial support.
