Vipin Balyan

Received B.E degree in Electronics and Communication with honours in 2003 from Dr B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra, India, M.Tech degree in Electronics and Networking from LaTrobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne, Australia in 2006. He received Ph.D Degree in Efficient Single Code Assignment in OVSF based WCDMA Wireless Networks in 2013 from JUIT, Solan, India. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering of Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Bellville Campus, Cape Town, South Africa. He is also a Program Coordinator of French South African Institute of Technology. His research area includes CDMA, OFDM, 5G, Visible light communication and Fuel Cells. He is a National Research Foundation (NRF) South Africa rated researcher, he received departmental Teaching Excellence Award in 2022, University Bronze award for publication in 2020, University Platinum Award in 2021 for publication and bronze award for post graduate supervision in 2021. He received a funding of more than 1.8 million Rands from Hydrogen South Africa. He authored more than 100 SCI/Scopus indexed Journals and Conferences.
