Jean Gerard

Jean Gerard joined HySA Systems in 2019 as a Key Technology Specialist. His responsibilities include system level modelling of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs); power-train modelling and synthesis ; thermal-fluid modelling of fuel cell auxiliary systems and general lab-related research and development tasks. Jean Gerard has extensive knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and structural design, and brings more than five years’ experience in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system development to the HySA team. He is currently registered as a part-time Ph.D Candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch, and will graduate in December 2019
