Myalelo Nomnqa earned his National Diploma and BTech in Chemical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. After working at Johnson and Johnson he returned to the same university and obtained an MTech in Chemical Engineering (cum laude). His MTech work focused on modelling and optimisation of fuel cell stack for combined heat and power applications. He is currently pursuing a doctoral programme at same university. His research focuses on modelling and optimisation of fuel cell energy systems.
