HySA Systems (www.hysasystems.org) is offering several PhD and MSc bursaries covering a range of research areas in Hydrogen Fuel Cells, related technologies and their integration into in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) applications.
Particularly prestigious PhD bursaries are being sponsored by Airbus, the world’s leading commercial aircraft manufacturer. We are seeking South African students that have completed an MSc in Physics, Chemistry or Engineering, and now wish to join the exciting field of renewable energy. A particular project will examine the aging mechanisms of Hydrogen Fuels Cells and look at applications of this technology in the airborne environment.
Bursaries will be offered for three (3) years, covering tuition fees and an allowance of R160 000 per year. Outstanding research will be supported by travel to conferences and the Airbus R&D facilities in the UK and Germany.
